it shouldn’t be a competition ‘cause we’re way too close alike

we’re all blowing off steam in what we choose to write

you ain’t doing something right if it ain’t coming from the heart

and sparkin’ some kind of emotion

with the words that you impart 

to the listener or the reader

bottom feeders never chart

i guess rhymes can be subjective, like any other kind of art

the pen is mightier than the sword and should be something to fear 

follow your passion love, remember to let your heart be in charge a bit

make an impact, remember that big heads are a lot less harder to hit

and remember the motto,

“you’re only as dope as the last bar you spit.”
