Steady making more laws will have you looking like a fool, when will you learn the problems start in the schools?
Buckle down on the rules, and lighten up on the preachers.
Let them bring God back into the classrooms to help kill that criminal fever.
And I guarantee ya, a lot less kids would be hooked on drugs worse than reefer,
If you’d quit being stingy with the funds and pay good teachers.

I’ll say it again, pay good teachers.

They deserve it more than you half ass leaders.
Like you only specialize in temper tantrum throwing,
“I didn’t get my way so I’m shutting down the government.”
These teachers literally teach the importance of compromise,
they spend their entire career trying to protect young minds.
And teach them to be more wise, so they don’t become brainwashed and blind,
And end up contributing to this nation’s demise.

The history of this country is our biggest resource.
Our cheat sheet is the mistakes our ancestors made before.
“It’s in the standards,” you say, blaming the kids like it’s their fault they get bored.
The room is plain, gray paint is the only decor.
Instead of working on one wall, why don’t you work on all four,
and put some money down to have the school buildings restored?
Nobody raising the future should feel ignored.
I know you have to deport, but there’s bigger issues out here you can put some money towards.

I just said three words I won’t let be dismissed.
Go back and read that last part again, I insist.
THESE TEACHERS RAISE OUR KIDS.
I’m a mom too, but it is what it is.

In addition,
As you as parents begin to meet these men and women,
Who will be teaching, praying for and helping to mold the mindset of your children,
Remember my opinion.
It’s up to all of us to show them recognition.
So make it a mission, to be clear what i’m saying,
Quit waiting for someone else to swoop in and save us.
Now, you’ll see it from my perspective or not, and that’s your decision,
But we don’t have to see eye to eye to have the same vision.
Your child’s teacher may just be a civilian,
But they are in a position to have the potential,
To either inspire more honest politicians
Or villains
Running this country that we’re livin’ in.

So I know most people aren’t interested in this topic I’m preaching on,
But there’s a fine line between a self proclaimed failure
And failing our kids by not teaching them good behavior.
Teach them about our real Savior,
And one by one this country will become great again, even greater.
Get involved, in the PTA
Go to “Donuts with Dads,” call work and tell them you’ll be late.
Chaperone their field trips.
At the end of the day it’s not about the money you spent
On their clothes, it’s about the knowledge their backpacks hold.
Donate items to the classroom,
Sign their agenda,
When they want to read to you, make sure you listen.

Never forget who’s in that room with your kid,
From 7-3, five whole days of the week.
Raise the standards for pay,
Thank them in the car line today,
A little appreciation will go a long way.

I’ve said what I needed to,
Take my mic, better yet, unplug it.
Before I center my judgement
Around the fact we have coaches in classrooms to keep extra digits in the budget.

Bet you didn’t expect this for number three,
