Girls hate girls, and this is why:
Girls look at girls like they are competition,
Like they always gotta fight for attention.
When it comes to my case though, that’s all fiction.
Because I stand where I stand and I know my place,
And if a hoe got a problem with me I’m just gonna sit back and roll one, then I blaze.
I’m the turtle in the race, take a look around
All the rabbits wore themselves out, trying to take each other’s crown.
Switching back and forth between sides with truth, gossip, and lies.
Meanwhile I’m passing by, and I got the motherfuckin’ prize.
I sit back and observe their audacity.
Their morals of friendship are so criminal to me.
Together Angel and Taylor will talk so viciously, saying mean things to Andrew about Tiffany.
So focused on getting a man to think higher of them that they condescend, betray their friend.
Wanna make a bet on which one will go tell poor Tiff, next time Angel and Taylor get into an argument?
It’s shocking to me, honestly.
To live a life as a crowd pleaser, so eager to win a temporary boyfriend or friendship or reputation that won’t even stick.
Instead of following real dreams, focusing on bigger things, and building true relationships with their family.
This is the thing, society shamelessly pits females against one another and claims it’s their natural instinct.
Like women are born to be mean, scheme and demean.
Break the cycle, make no rivals, only idolize the Man in the Bible.
There are plenty of crowns to go around, you don’t need them all baby girl, all you’ll get is your back stabbed and your neck hurt.
Your title, your worth is not defined by likes or guys…
It’s up to you how bright you shine.
My mother told me once,
“If they are talking about me, I consider it a good thing. That means they are giving someone else a break.”
So I don’t jump the gun, I don’t take any sneak disses to heart, I disregard the snakes hisses and I have been from the start.
Another quote from my mother,
“There will always be someone more beautiful. There will always be someone smarter. What matters is your sense of humor. And your honor. And that the beauty you show the world is all yours from the inside out, nobody can copy and paste that.”
That’s my point of view, that’s what I live by.
Mama Kelli is a queen, and she’s living a good life, with a good man who treats her right. And she’s got a good heart and peace of mind.
And she doesn’t compete with these bitches,
Cause they running back and forth chasing the prize..
While she’s in the end zone, clutching it tight.
